Zermatt is car-free to prevent pollution and maximize your relax time. You can get to our hotel with Matterhorn view using the cab service from Täsch or the train. In Zermatt you can easily reach all the facilities by foot, e-bus, horse-drawn carriage or electronic cab.
Our porter picks you up at the Zermatt train station or the taxi stand. We offer this service free of charge daily from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm. Please inform us in advance about your time of arrival or call us from the free phone at the train station.
Zermatt is car-free. Access to the Zermatt hotels with Matterhorn view is only permitted to Täsch (5 kilometers from Zermatt). The road between Täsch and Zermatt is closed for public traffic.
In Täsch you will find a number of parking spaces, which offer shuttle service to and from Zermatt. We recommend to book your parking space in Täsch well in advance, as parking spaces in Täsch are highly demanded. Find further information here:

The Matterhorn Gotthard shuttle trains run every 20 minutes between Täsch and Zermatt.
Travelling by train is comfortable. Free from waiting times and traffic jams on the motorways you can enjoy the view and at the same time do something for the environment. Furthermore, the train ride to the Zermatt hotels with Matterhorn view is one of the most beautiful, taking you through the deepest valley of Switzerland providing for incomparable landscapes.

You can travel to one of the closest airports by plane. From there you can continue your journey comfortably by train. From Zurich airport (ca. 3,5 h by train to Zermatt) or Geneva airport (ca. 4 h by train to Zermatt).
